For years, you have tried to change your life through thinking. You have read the books. Taken the courses. Learned the tools. And yet — something persists. A tension that lives deeper than thoughts. A pattern that understanding alone has never been able to shift.
HABITARTE exists because transformation does not happen in the mind. It happens in the body. In breath. In movement. In the moment you stop performing your life and start inhabiting it.
HABITARTE is a conscious, one-day-only movement and breath-based experience created by the Ismael Cala Foundation.
Delivered by Betsy Dopico, and born from her personal journey of feeling disconnected from her inner voice while pursuing external success and approval. It reflects the shift she discovered when returning to intentional movement and breathwork as tools for reconnection, clarity, and self-alignment.
More than a practice, HABITARTE™ invites people to “inhabit” themselves fully—transforming how they relate to their body, emotions, and daily life. It is grounded in the idea that true change does not come only from what we know, but from how we choose to live, move, and breathe with awareness and presence.
Betsy Dopico is a Cuban-born movement coach, dancer, and Zumba International Ambassador who has spent over 18 years inspiring people through dance and fitness. Born in Santa Clara, Cuba, she began dancing at the age of four and later combined her background in music (piano), dance, and philosophy to develop a unique approach to movement that blends technique with intention and emotional wellbeing. She has performed and presented globally, including alongside artists such as Pitbull, Daddy Yankee, and Wyclef Jean.
Based in Miami, where she runs On Beat Miami, Betsy leads classes and programmes that use dance as a tool for healing, joy, and personal transformation through her Movement and Intention methodology. She is also a certified life coach, Reiki practitioner, and Theta healer, and shares tools for wellbeing through her Butterfly Circle community. Her mission, “Pongamos de Moda la Felicidad” (“Let’s Make Happiness Trendy”), reflects her belief that movement is a pathway to joy, balance, and connection.
"HABITARTE was born the day I stopped performing my life and started living it. Movement was not the method. It was the truth I had been avoiding."
