A Night of Elegance, Music, and Cuban Culture in Support of El Vuelo de la Cometa
This year, the Ismael Cala Foundation’s Legacy of Light Gala 2025 will offer a unique immersive experience at Cala Botanic Sanctuary, located within the Cala Center, under the theme Full Moon. The event will take place on Saturday, November 1, starting at 6:30 p.m., and promises an unforgettable evening blending the charm of Havana nightlife with the tropical beauty of its gardens.
Celebrating ten years of achievements since the Foundation’s creation, this event combines the sophistication of Havana by moonlight with live performances, a gourmet dinner, and exclusive experiences, all designed to raise awareness for El Vuelo de la Cometa, the Foundation’s flagship program.
This program equips young people in vulnerable environments with tools in emotional intelligence, conscious leadership, and effective communication, helping them build confidence, resilience, and real opportunities for a brighter future.
The Legacy of Light Gala is a high-impact event that brings together benefactors and cultural and community leaders committed to social transformation. Its purpose is to connect, inspire, and turn empathy into action, expanding the reach of El Vuelo de la Cometa to more countries.
By 2026, the Foundation plans to implement the program in a new format: Virtual for Parents, offering practical emotional intelligence tools to help improve parent-child relationships, create safe spaces at home, encourage empathy and conscious communication, and strengthen emotional leadership in adolescents between the ages of 11 and 18.
In addition, the Foundation aims to consolidate the ICF Research and Development Unit, dedicated to measuring impact, evaluating educational tools, and creating innovations in emotional intelligence and youth leadership.
