Miami, FL — On December 1, the Ismael Cala Foundation officially announced the launch of El Vuelo de la Cometa Virtual for Parents, a training program designed to support Spanish-speaking families in developing key socio-emotional skills for raising adolescents between the ages of 11 and 18.
After more than a decade of advancing emotional education for thousands of young people and educational institutions across Latin America, the Foundation is now taking a strategic step into the family environment, responding to the growing need to guide parents and caregivers in building more empathetic, conscious, and resilient homes.
A Practical, Flexible, and Transformative Program
El Vuelo de la Cometa Virtual for Parents consists of 12 short modules that participants can complete at their own pace. Through emotional intelligence tools, the program teaches families how to strengthen communication with their children, navigate challenging situations with calm, and create safe spaces at home.
